About a year ago, almost to the month, APAA put out a call for re-homing a lovely abandoned fellow, named ‘Rover’ by Fenella Touch. Coming up for two years old, he is fully house-trained. Vaccinated and SNiP’d. Aided by APAA’s ongoing programme, ‘Rover’ is a healthy happy doggie. Unfortunately, Fenella’s other two already-established permanent dogs are not so happy with the newcomer. “It has become a problem we need to get sorted.” Jenny acknowledges, that it was hoped ‘Rover’ would be in his forever home, so to speak. “He is very affectionate. Talking of which, young balcony-beagle-type ‘Marley’, recently on the lookout for re-homing was snapped up by an eager family. He is as we speak in seventh heaven. No doubt. So there is a home, somewhere waiting for all our woofers who need a helping hand. Just has to be the right one.

APAA’s taking a long-earned ‘Pop-Up’ rest. But, still looking out for special venues to welcome and greet new members and old friends alike. “All we need is space for a few tables to be loaded up with our goodies. Decent parking is helpful.
