The airline includes more than 17,000 flights to and from Portugal, which are now available to buy.
José Lopes, general director of easyJet Portugal, said that the company “seeks to continue boosting the tourism and aviation sector and creating unique moments for customers”.
16,000 flights between March 3, 2005 and June 15, 2025? Impossible. This cannot be correct.
That's a period of 105 days. That means EasyJet is flying 1,543 flghts per day. 64 per hour, one every .9 of a second. Lufthansa, a much bigger airline, flies 887 flights per day. EasyJet has 336 planes. Lufthansa has 721.
The other claim is 17,000 flights TO Portugal. That's 47 per day, every day, 365 days per year. This is doable, but also doubtful.
