After being filmed naked, in broad daylight, in a bar area, last weekend, the GNR proceeded to identify them at the beginning of this week, according to Notícias ao Minuto.
In statements to SIC, which reports the news, the municipality emphasises that it has asked nightlife entrepreneurs to tighten control.
"It makes no sense for us to have created a strategy, it makes no sense for us to spend money on promotion when cases of this type happen, which are deeply negative and do not dignify anyone", says José Rolo, president of Albufeira City Council, speaking to the channel.
The municipality says that nightlife will always be important for Albufeira, but admits to changing the opening hours of bars and calls on business owners to take measures.
The municipal executive will also request a meeting with the Minister of Internal Administration to request the reinforcement of policing in the city.
In the images, which you can see here, you can see a group of British men, between 35 and 50 years old, naked in a bar in Albufeira.
WARNING: The video shows images of nudity
It is alway the Brits. Fighting, nude, peeing in the streets/in public, puking all over.
The Albufeira camera needs to put an end to this stuff by pushing the GNR to arrest and deport. Such actions would end this horrible behavior.

That wouldn't even be allowed in IBIZA, I'm with D above; arrest and deport or they're be more incidents and no one from the staff called the police to complain?
They would not have gotten in trouble but now the bar will get a hefty fine, possible temporary closure and notification to the board that granted them a liquor license.

This is disgraceful. Why must some men behave so poorly? They should be rounded up, deported and feel lucky to not be thrown into a dark, deep jail cell...

I wonder how they were identified as being Brits, other than being out of control that is!

It’s disgusting, so disrespectful and makes one ashamed to be British, would they do this back in the UK?
By Jackie from Lisbon on 24 Jun 2024, 10:47
Disgraceful activity from this group of people. It's not as though they are children, or late at night after a bellyful of ale. Makes me ashamed to be British.

Entirely unacceptable, whether by those from the UK, USA or anywhere.

PLEASE put them in jail for a while.

It’s only a bit of harmless fun. No wonder we Brits voted for freedom from the EU nanny state.

Algarve municipalities and regional police need to make some commercials — such as the “stay away” ads and commercials made by Amsterdam in 2023 — and post them in countries where problematic populations reside. Nobody wants to bring their family on a vacation where drunken naked men are roaming around. That behaviour is not only disgusting, it decreases property value and market share.

The Brits, and let's face it it is mainly Brits, who are nearly always the culprits, have it so easy I England, especially. There's no need for the GNR to behave so leniently as the British police have been WOKED into doing. Deportation and a 5 year ban from entering these shores again is a good answer. Brits are now being made to behave more responsibly in other countries, time for beautiful Portugal to follow suit before it's too late!

Disgraceful behaviour, and it is not harmless fun, it is behaviour of animals, British mainly English come here and think the law does not apply to them, jail them and fine them then give them a life ban, a ban that covers all of the Schengen area it will soon sink home they are not the master race they think they are.

Let’s face it. No Scotland no party. No England, no outrageous behaviour. Forget the blanket blame of British when it is negative
