This data on the new toll tariff on the Brisa network was released by the company which, in a statement, says that the update is based on the annual inflation rate (on the mainland and without housing) in October and the additional 0.1 % provided for by law following the limit decreed in 2023, the year in which the increase in tolls was limited to mitigate the impact of the sharp rise in inflation then recorded.
According to Brisa, 52 of the 93 toll rates applied to class 1 vehicles will be updated in 2025, with the price of the others (44% of the total) remaining the same in relation to the values applied this year.
In the statement, Brisa emphasises that, as has occurred in the past, also in 2025 "there are cases of toll rates that show a variation below the average or even zero, and, in other cases, toll rates show a variation above the average, as they had not been updated in previous years".
In 2025, Brisa plans to invest 64 million euros in its network, namely in road surface improvement works and rehabilitation of viaducts and embankments.
