A source from the Regional Command of the Civil Protection Center told Lusa that the elderly woman, over 90 years old, who was the owner of the house, was the only victim of the fire, which occurred in the union of parishes of Cantanhede and Pocariça.

At the scene, at 07:20, there were still 15 elements of the Cantanhede firefighters, supported by five vehicles, according to data available on the website of the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection.
