"We can announce the actual purchase of a further 260,000 computers to which now another 75,000 are computers added. In other words, we have 335,000 computers already purchased to reach our schools," Minister Tiago Brandão Rodrigues announced during the regimental hearing being held at the Education Commission of the Portuguese Parliament.
These 335,000 pieces of equipment are in addition to the 100,000 or so computers that were distributed during the first period. At the time, priority was given to secondary school pupils with social support.
