Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has signed an agreement to build a factory for core parts of new energy vehicles with a total investment of ¥6.5 billion, announced by state-backed Securities Times last week.

The project will further improve manufacturing capacity of BYD’s factory in the southern city of Shenzhen, added the newspaper.
Founded in 1995, the company has established over 30 industrial parks worldwide and has played a significant role in industries related to electronics, automobiles, new energy and rail transit. From energy generation and storage to its applications, BYD is dedicated to providing zero-emission energy solutions.
