According to figures from Ifop and the Jean-Jaurés Foundation, since the pandemic, 37 percent of French say they are less motivated to work and two-thirds are happy to work less and earn less. The study found that working from home exacerbated the problem, as it bore the title of “an epidemic of burnout and laziness when a part of the French wants to slow down.”
