On the islands of the Western group (Flores and Corvo), the yellow warning starts at 12:00 today (13:00 in Lisbon), ending at 21:00.

On the islands of the Central group (Terceira, São Jorge, Graciosa, Pico and Faial) the yellow warning is in effect between 18:00 today and 12:00 on Wednesday.

The IPMA predicts that "rainfall that is sometimes heavy and may be accompanied by thunderstorms" may occur.

The yellow warning is issued by IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities depending on the weather situation.
