According to Commander José Rodrigues, from the National
Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC), 9,628 operators were
involved, supported by 3,080 vehicles.
"At the moment things are calmer, despite the fact that
there are many operators still working given the number of occurrences, namely
flooding in garages, basements and other places that require many hours of
work", José Rodrigues told Lusa.
