The Corpse Flower was given its name because when it blooms it smells like dead and rotting animals and has become a plant enthusiasts favourite with the last blooming season attracting 10,000 visitors all trying to catch a whiff.
Well that zoomed by! Our Titan Arum, aka #CorpseFlower, has been seen & smelled by thousands of visitors who flocked to #AdelaideBotanicGarden. Now in its 3rd bloom day, the smell has gone and it is likely to wilt tonight. Visitors today will need to join the queue by 5pm. ???? pic.twitter.com/VN4PN035Py
