According to a report by the Manchester Evening News, the
flight left Manchester airport at 6.23pm on February 10 and was due to land in
Lisbon at 8.25pm. However, the flight was
forced to turn back and landed once again in Manchester at 7.29pm.
An airline spokesman told the Manchester Evening News that
the ill passenger “received further treatment by medics” once the plane had
landed.
"This flight from Manchester to Lisbon (10 Feb)
returned to Manchester Airport shortly after take-off when a passenger onboard
became ill," the spokesman said.
"Crew acted in line with safety procedures and called ahead to request medical assistance upon arrival. The aircraft landed normally and the passenger disembarked and received further treatment by medics."
