The information was advanced in a company report published this week, which highlighted that the Airbnb policy prohibits hosts on the platform from refusing reservations based on race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation and gender identity.

The number of accounts banned by Airbnb is down from last year, when the platform suspended a total of 5,100 accounts.
