The districts of Beja, Faro, Lisbon and Setúbal will remain under a yellow warning until 15:00 today
The IPMA also issued a yellow warning for the districts of Guarda and Castelo Branco, but due to snowfall above 700/800 meters until 9:00 am today.
For the district of Faro, the IPMA also issued an orange warning between 12:00 pm on Friday and 7:00am on Saturday due to rough seas, with waves from the southeast of 3 to 4 metres expected.
The IPMA predicts until Thursday heavy rain, especially in the southern region, and snow due to a “depression region”.
“The weather on the mainland will be conditioned until the 9th [Thursday], by a complex low pressure region, with a core centred in the southwest of the Algarve, and another, over the north of the Iberian Peninsula”, says the IPMA.

The IPMA predicts the occurrence of precipitation, until
mid-afternoon on Thursday, especially in the southern region, and by the end of
the morning today it could be in the form of snow in the North and Centre
regions above 600 /800 meters altitude.
The IPMA also indicates that in the Alentejo and Algarve the precipitation may be “locally intense and occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms and hail”.
