According to the PSP, the man was arrested on November 7, after issuing an arrest warrant by the criminal police authority, “for having been the author of several crimes of robbery”, six of them using a knife, from the beginning of October in the parishes of Areeiro, Avenidas Novas, Alvalade and Arroios.

“The suspect focused their crimes on pharmacies, cafes, and hotels, creating a feeling of insecurity”, stressed the PSP.

The detainee was recognised by all the victims within the scope of the investigation and the knife he used to commit the crimes was seized.
