انهيار أرضي يقتل شخصين

"A landslide on a slope hit a family home and killed two 22-year-old victims", said the deputy of the Volunteer Fire Command of Esposende, district of Braga.

The bodies are still to be recovered. The operators on the ground were waiting, at around 6:00am, for the “guarantee of safety conditions to use heavy machinery to remove the debris”, said Júlio Melo.

In the landslide, in which “stones of some size” were dragged, “a compartment located at the back of the house was hit”, said the same source.

According to Esposende firefighters, there were six people in the house, two of them (fatal victims) in an annex at the back.
