“CTT – Correios de Portugal informs that the price update of the basket of correspondence services, editorial mail, and parcels will take place from March 1, 2023”, reads the statement sent to the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM).

The average annual price variation will be 6.24%, with the maximum increase for this year set at 6.58%.

According to the same note, this variation is part of the company's tariff policy and results from the application of the universal postal service price agreement for the period 2023-2027.

The maximum variation is calculated taking into account the average rate of change in the Consumer Price Index, the variation in traffic over the last 12 months, and other significant changes in context.
