According to the Portuguese Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (SPAIC) until July 7, high to very high concentrations are expected in the regions located in the North and Centre of the country and in the south, it will be low to moderate.

Low levels of pollen in the atmosphere and moderate levels in the Azores are expected for the Madeira archipelago.

SPAIC adds that throughout the country, pollen grains from grass and parietaria herbs predominate, which have a high allergenic capacity.
