Our first concert of the New Year features our old friend Varoujan Bartikian on the cello and Irene Ainstein at the piano. 

Our programme falls into two distinct halves. Before the interval, Varoujan will perform another of Bach's suites for solo cello, on this occasion Suite no 4. After the interval we shall have Schuber's Arpeggione followed by the Allegro Apassionato by Saint-Saëns, for both of which Varoujan will be accompanied by Irene at the piano.
