Confeitaria Glória, in Amadora, won the 'The Best Pasta de Nata in Lisbon' competition. In second place were the pastries from Padaria da Né, in Damaia, and in third place, those from O Pãozinho das Marias, in Ericeira, according to a report by NM.

In 2022, the winner was the custard tart from Pastelaria Casa do Padeiro, in Pontinha.

The 'The Best Pastel de Nata' initiative was launched in 2009 by journalist Vicente Themudo de Castro. It is organised by Edições do Gosto and Virgílio Gomes.
