In the final speech at a joint hearing of the parliamentary committees on Culture and Communication and Budget and Finance, within the scope of the discussion on the speciality of the Orçamento de Estado 2021 proposal, Graça Fonseca stressed that “culture professionals have been extraordinary” in adapting to measures approved by the Government to try to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.
The minister, stressed that this is “an unprecedented year in contemporary history”, and warned of the consequences of the health crisis: "What happened is going to be a deep pain in many sectors in Portugal”.
