In the weekly indicators on the pandemic, INE recorded on Wednesday a total of 29,511 cases accumulated in the previous seven days, corresponding to 4,216 new cases on average per day, "the lowest value since 31 December, 2020".
The number of new confirmed cases in the previous seven days has been decreasing since 28 January, adds INE.
On 10 February there was an incidence rate of 903 new cases per 100 thousand inhabitants in the previous 14 days, below the maximum of 1,667 new cases per 100 thousand inhabitants reached on 29 January.
Mental health and failed businesses will be the biggest issue when we finally get out of lockdown. Too late for many!
