The question was put by centrist MP João Gonçalves Pereira to the Prime Minister in the second round of the debate with the Government on general policy, in the Portuguese Parliament, in Lisbon, giving the example of the fourth wave that will hit other countries in Europe.
Instead of António Costa it was the Finance Minister, João Leão, who replied, but said nothing about this issue, although he did give assurances that support for businesses would be maintained for the duration of the pandemic.
Which led Gonçalves Pereira to conclude: "The Government has nothing prepared or studied".
Drawing yet another conclusion, that the executive is "pushing with its belly" and the "bill will be paid later".
And then the 5th wave, the 6th wave, the 7th wave, 8th wave, 9th wave
