A 2.8....very newsworthy!! Maybe make an article about how Portugal is ignoring human rights and the Constitution with all the jabs and illegal restrictions????
Naah, never bite the hand that feeds...

Given Portugal's earthquake history, I'm astonished that at least one of your readers thinks you should be criticized for running the story. I'm further deeply perturbed that he seems to think that preventing infected persons from spreading a fatal disease throughout the world by the use of a simple, safe vaccine is an attack on anyone's human rights. The reverse is true. Allowing pre-scientific dropouts to claim they have a right to contract and spread Covid and kill perhaps dozens of innocent people by avoiding the jab is sheer insanity. I'm betting the complainant is, like me, British. He should treat his adopted country with respect. They know more about health management than he could imagine.

ln response to Fred Doe`s comment sarcastically saying this is newsworthy ! well yes actually to me it IS as l have relatives there. Having spent months in the Algarve and now back in the UK it `s very worrying to read things like that !!! As for the rest of your comment about ignoring human rights and all the jabs and illegal restrictions, well they are jabbing away in the UK you know and what illegal restrictions, maybe you should explain exactly what you mean.

As a child I was told not to make fun of people with obvious disabilities. In this case mental. What we see as obvious they do not. It's a puzzle. Look for ways to counter the ignorance. Don´t waste your time putting seeds on barren ground.
There are tremendous difficulties ahead of us. Analyse, priorities and find people to help you solve the problem. If it cannot be solved, then plan for the future after the disaster.

Yes, I've responded to this Fred Doe on other Covid posts and he is a Facebook believer; the world's greatest "unregulated" purveyor of lies and deceit. It is sad that a person not familiar with scientific fact can influence many people into staying unvaccinated and spreading the virus. He appears to be unhappy with restrictions that protect us from each other and things will never get better for Fred Doe as long as people don't mask or vaccinate as scientists expect another 10 years of this as well as a vaccine resistant strain. It usually takes the death of a loved one for those people to reverse their health routine and stay quiet so relax and enjoy the Algarve sun, while you can. And oh yes Fred, the President wants you to wear your mask on the beach to protect even deniers like you. On that part I believe it will be lifted if you are 6 ft. apart.

Someone grab the popcorn. This back-and-forth is going to require snacks! =)

In response to Fred Doe, exactly how Portugal is ignoring human rights and the Constitution with all the jabs and illegal restrictions???
Portugal is amongst the safest places to be in Europe at the moment.
Jabs !!! If you don't want one ok, go off and die somewhere.
Illegal restrictions? Please explain which restrictions are illegal !
Or, if you don't agree with the laws in Portugal, and don't want to be part of the Portuguese community, then please go back to wherever it is that you came from.
Although, as you came to Portugal, presumably you thought that being here was better?
If that has not turned out to be the case, I will happily book flights for you to return to your previous paradise ????????
