This proposal for income policy for 2022 was approved by the Central's National Council, and will guide the CGTP unions in the future.
The document defines all the demands that Intersindical and its unions will fight for, namely the valuation of salaries and careers, the fight against precariousness, respect for labour rights and the reduction of working hours.
Not with this government. !!!!!. Change needed for that to Happen..!!!!

NO! NOT ENOUGHT! If we are in the Europe of the 1500 minimum wage, but with the highest taxes and fuel, NO, I AM 40 YEARS OLD AND I PAY TO GO TO WORK,650 eur a month do not pay my rent! I am forced to live with my parents just because I cant find a partner to split rent, fck no, not 850, not 900. France made chaos in the streets because 1300 was not enough, SO WE WANT 1300 AND NOT ONE CENT LESS! Portuguese people write a letter to the Human Rights!

The CGTP is not a political party but rather the General Confederation of the Portuguese Workers, an association of unions controlled by the Portuguese Communist Party.

I have been living and working in Portugsl for last more than 2 years. I was getting minimum salay 750 months I had to pay for rooms 350 metro monthly card 40 and food 200 give little support to my parents and buy little dress for me I could not do that because of poor payment systems. Comparing to other European countries Portugal has no balance between income and basic living cost end of the month left nothing for one workers. Minimum wages should be at least 1200

There is a definite need to raise minimum wages but the knock on effect is higher labour costs and retail prices. I see plenty of people spending up in the shops, so there is money about. How about not taxing anyone earning below 15000 Euro, and add the extra to IVA to make up the tax lost? Those who earn more, spend more and consequently get taxed more.

If this happend then good news for everyone specially for imigrant.. we are living in a 21st century 650 ? Not enough to fullfill even small needs . House rent utility water and net .single person cannot efford in MINIMUM wages of current time. So atleast 850 or more is good proposal
I am noy against goverment . This is to fight for human rights

To all those believing in fantasy economics and calling for a huge and affordable increase in the minimum wage, as a consequence, your haircut will double in price, as will your lunch or dinner in a restaurant, so watch out for you ask for. Wages are a cost for businesses, so if you inflate them, they will have to pass on the cost in higher prices to you, the consumer. It is foolish to think that a huge increase should be given just because 'it's nice to have'. That's not how the economy works.

I am agree with mr.pedro Rodrigues.because my situation is same like mr.pedro.i have house with 600€ and my bills 1.50€ per month and my salary is 6.65 +1.50=8.15 so Its very difficult to manage.so I request to the gov. to increase the minimum wages according to house rent and another expenditures.
Thanks
