Data from Turismo do Porto and Norte de Portugal (TPNP), based on feedback from its members, show that the hotel occupancy figures for New Year's Eve are also “very different” among its four sub-destinations.

In Porto, on the one hand, the rates are between 25% and 30%, better than in 2020 when reservations stood at 15%.

On the other hand, the Douro, Trás-os-Montes and Minho have reservations in the order of 95% for wine tourism, agritourism and local accommodation spaces, indicates the TPNP.

However, also in these sub-destinations, cities do not exceed 40%.
