The weekly average of new cases is holding steady in the region, with a tendency to keep decreasing slightly, according to last week’s weekly update released by the Algarve Civil Protection Committee.

In the week of 15 to 22 April, there were 2965 more cases of Covid-19 across the Algarve, as well as 9 deaths directly caused by the virus. On the other hand, 3935 people recovered from the disease in the region during the same period.
