The Council of Government of Madeira decided, on Thursday, to maintain the “use of a mask in certain closed spaces”, such as homes, health units and pharmacies “and when citizens use collective passenger transport, as well as on public transport”.
Also, on platforms and covered accesses to public transport, including airports and maritime terminals, the use of a surgical mask or FFP2 is mandatory for people over six years of age.
Citizens with a positive test for covid-19 are also obliged to wear a protective mask “in all circumstances, whenever they are out of their place of isolation until the 10th day after the date of onset of symptoms or a positive test”.
