These decisions are contained in a statement sent today by the Madeiran executive (PSD/CDS-PP), chaired by Miguel Albuquerque, following the conclusions of the weekly meeting of the Council of Government.
The Madeiran government indicates that it will “better define the mandatory use of a mask” on board the ship Lobo Marinho, which makes the maritime connection between Madeira and Porto Santo, but does not specify the changes.
It also states that the measure enters into force as soon as it is published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
Currently, the use of a mask in the region is mandatory in health facilities, homes, pharmacies and other establishments with users in a fragile situation, as well as on public transport and port and airport terminals.
