According to Guimarães Digital, the new four-star unit will have 129 rooms and the architectural project will be headed by the Pitágoras Group. Construction works are due to begin in 2023, and are expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

In addition to the Joalpi space, the new unit will include a building adjacent to the property, recently acquired for this purpose.
