Investigation sources cited by the EFE agency indicated that at 10:00 pm on Saturday a citizen informed the Guardia Civil that he had seen the suspected man and woman in the shopping centre in Zamora

According to the police force, the woman is 40 years old and the man is 42 and the two are suspected of robberies at service stations in Toledo, Badajoz and Seville.

On Wednesday, the Civil Guard had requested the collaboration of citizens through their official profiles on social networks to locate this couple.

At the time, the Guardia Civil released images of the two suspects captured by video surveillance cameras at a service station and asked for help in locating them.

According to the same publication on social media, the Guardia Civil suspected that the couple was in Spanish territory and warned that they were armed.

The two people "are dangerous", wrote the Guardia Civil in a post on Twitter.
