At a time when electronic payment alternatives are
multiplying, deGrazie arrives in Portugal, a fast transaction platform
especially aimed at restaurants.
According to information provided by the company, this
payment solution "does not require registration or downloads" and
"boosts the efficiency of restaurants".
In practice, customers only need to read a QR code that is
unique to each table and through the menu they enter the payment will be
processed in 10 seconds, promises deGrazie.
According to Correio da Manhã, more than 80 Portuguese
restaurants have already joined this system.

Fred is very correct.

There's several flaws with this, for example, if I use the app to select what I want and then pay, what happens if I want anything else at the end? I'd probably have to complete another transaction or pay it at the counter, meaning that will defeat the purpose of this system, this would also mean that the owner/chef )(or whomever) would have to update their menu everyday on the backend of the app, meaning, more work. Also, most restaurants in Portugal are owned by small families and sometimes don't even want to have UberEats or similar apps because of the trouble of refunds and so on. I'm don't think it's going to grow as fast as they want it to. Just my honest opinion.
