Tuesday, November 8 – Let’s Walk near Alcalar

A 2.5 hour fairly easy walk in an area that has very few visitors and offers much to see and enjoy.

10am start meet at the Restaurant O Tasco close to Alcalar (GPS 37.2133821, -8.5861571). Take the EN125 westwards from Portimão and just after the exit for Alvor turn right, sign Alcalar. Drive for almost 10km and you will come to the restaurant on the left on a bend in the road, parking to the right.

Friday, November 11 - Let’s walk from S Romão, Loulé / SB Alportel

A walk of almost 3 hours through totally unspoilt countryside with some fabulous views. Moderately easy, there are some stony tracks.

10am start meet at the cafe Correia (GPS 37.158250, -7.935298) in S Romão. Drive to Loulé and then follow the signs for São Brás de Alportel (the EN270). Drive towards São Brás and after 8km you have a turn to the left for S Romão & Querença. Turn and drive up through the hamlet until you come to a crossroads and the cafe is on the right (car park opposite).
