The tournament attracted an international field with 32 bowlers competing in the drawn doubles competition. A high standard of bowling was on display from all competitors. Partners were drawn on a daily basis and then played in group round robin matches to determine daily results. The leader board was very close at the end of the Tournament and the overall winner of the Tournament was Steve McManus for the second year in a row. The weather was beautiful throughout the week and the entrants all enjoyed good food and hospitality at the Club. The 2023 Tournament will run from 6th to 11th November and entry details are on the Club website (www.alvorbowls.com). Crown green bowls takes place at the Club every Tuesday afternoon.
