During the first 10 months of the year, investment totalled 509.4 million euros, 36.5% more than in the same period in 2021, according to accounts made by Lusa based on data provided by the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF).
Last month, 83 visas were granted, of which 71 were based on the criterion for purchasing real estate (27 for urban rehabilitation) and 12 through capital transfers.
In cumulative terms, 1,009 golden visas were granted by October (94 in January, 94 in February, 73 in March, 121 in April, 112 in May, 155 in June, 80 in July, 77 in August, 120 in September and 83 in October).
Investment in the purchase of real estate totalled 39.5 million euros in October, of which 9.9 million euros in urban rehabilitation. Capital transfers totalled 4.7 million euros.
Last month 15 golden visas were granted to China, 12 to the United States, 11 to Brazil, nine to South Africa and five to India.
In the month under analysis, 111 residence permits were granted to reunited family members, which in total corresponds to 1,203.
The ARI program turned 10 last October (started in 2012) and its continuity is currently being evaluated.
All because they have stopped getting something for nothing. Great.

More like because they take your money and never issue your Golden Visas with no consequences or accountability. was going to say surprised that this type of scam is happening in the EU but after Covid and Ukraine, seems like nobody in the EU knows what they are doing. I actually hope they never issue my golden visa. I’m gonna sell the house and never look back.
