Adding Beyoncé's nine nominations in this edition of the Grammys with those she had in previous years, the singer becomes the most nominated artist ever, with 88 nominations, a record she shares with her husband, the 'rapper' and producer Jay-Z, who has five nominations this year.
Beyoncé is nominated for Album of the Year, with "Renaissance", and Recording of the Year, and Song of the Year, with "Break my soul", counting also with nominations in Dance/Electronic and R&B (Rhythm and Blues) categories.

The Grammy's long list of 91 categories covers different musical genres, from jazz to classical music, rap, rock, and metal, and from gospel to audiobooks. This year, five new categories have been created, including Songwriter of the Year.
