The company, which specialises in location software and analysis of historical and real-time traffic conditions, has prepared a study for 2022 called the Global Traffic Scorecard. According to this study, London is the city where drivers spend the most time traveling by car.
On average, in London, each driver spent 156 hours in traffic in 2022. Close behind is Chicago with an average of 155 hours. Completing the world podium is Paris, with an average of 138 hours a year.
Portugal has numbers far below these, but even so, they are still considerable hours. Lisbon is the city with the most traffic in the country, with each person spending, on average, 60 hours a year in traffic. Porto follows, with 40 hours, and Braga, with 29. Évora has an average of 28 hours and Guimarães 24.
Traffic is back to pre-Covid levels in many cities—and in some places it’s even worse. #2022GlobalTrafficScorecard #INRIXinsightshttps://t.co/SFr0ExGJ20

I am guessing that these figures are per month and not per year.
