According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), the districts of Bragança, Viseu, Évora, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Setúbal, Santarém, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Castelo Branco, Aveiro, Coimbra, Portalegre, and Braga will be under the notice until 10:00am on Thursday due to the persistence of low minimum temperatures.
The IPMA also issued a yellow warning for the districts of Porto, Faro, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Aveiro, Coimbra, and Braga between 12:00 and 21:00 today due to maritime agitation, predicting waves of 4 to 4.5 metres.
The North Coast of Madeira and the island of Porto Santo will also be under a yellow warning until 12:00 today due to sea agitation, with northwest waves of 4 to 4.5 metres expected.
The IPMA has forecast for today on the continent cold weather with slightly cloudy or clear skies and light to moderate winds.

The forecast also points to the formation of frost, especially in the interior North and Centre, and sharp falls in temperature at night.
The minimum temperatures will fluctuate between -3 degrees Celsius (in Bragança) and 11 (in Faro) and the maximum between 10 degrees (in Guarda) and 20 (in Faro).
