Lisbon: It will be heating up again in Lisbon over the weekend with temperatures peaking at 29 degrees on Sunday and dropping to lows of 12 degrees. It will be warmer still on Monday with highs of 30 degrees but is to drop again on Tuesday to highs of 29 degrees and to nightly lows of 14 degrees.

The north: Following the rain forecast for Friday it is to dry out again in the north with temperatures rising to 27 degrees by Sunday with nightly lows of 7 degrees. From Monday it is to heat up further to highs of 29 degrees with lows of 11 degrees and intermittent cloud cover with prolonged periods of sunshine.

The centre: The fine weather is to continue over the weekend with temperatures up to 29 degrees by Sunday with nightly lows of 11 degrees. It will be feeling hot by Tuesday when thermometers are to tip the 31 degree mark while there will be no chance of rain and a mixture of sunshine and cloudy periods.

The south: Cloud cover is to increase slightly as the week progresses but by Sunday temperatures are to peak at 29 degrees with nightly lows of 17 degrees. From Monday temperatures are to remain stable, averaging daily highs of 27 degrees and lows of 17 degrees with some light cloud expected daily.

Madeira: Cloud cover is to decrease over the weekend but there will be some intermittent cloud cover with maximum highs of 25 degrees and lows of 17 degrees. The weather is to remain very much the same the following week with average highs of 24 degrees.

The Azores: It is to be mainly dry up until Saturday however from Sunday rain is to return and temperatures are to reach highs of 19 degrees. The showers are to continue for the rest of the following week although there will be some sunny periods.
