According to a report by ECO, the company has over 200 vacancies to fill in stores in Loulé, Loures, Alfragide, Braga and Matosinhos and also for the customer support centre and national office.

“For the summer of 2023 we are recruiting for part-time but also full-time vacancies, with a strong focus on Sales, Customer Service, Ikea Food and Logistics. These are crucial functions for the customer experience in this peak season, but they are also important for employees to gain relevant experience within Ikea”, says Rita Távora, country talent development manager at Ikea Portugal in the report.

At the start of the year, Ikea announced an increase in the minimum starting salary for all full-time employees in the retail operation, from 750 euros to 1,000 euros monthly gross (14,000 euros annually).
