Since neither secured over half the votes, they’ll be facing off on May 28th in a second round. In third place, with 5.17%, was Ogan, whose influence may decide Turkey’s future. Last came Ince, with 0.44%, who withdrew 3 days before voting ended.
Elections end undecided
Turkey’s May 14th election ended indefinitely as current president Erdogan took 49.5% of the vote while opposition leader Kilicdaroglu got 44.89%.
