Mercadona aims to end the year with 10 new openings in 2023, which means that it will have more than 50 supermarkets on Portuguese soil.

The most recent opening, it should be noted, took place last week in Massamá, the brand's first establishment in the municipality of Sintra and the 42nd store of the Spanish brand in Portugal.

This year, Mercadona has already opened two other stores: in Marco de Canaveses (Porto) and in Figueira da Foz (Coimbra).
