Lagos Book Fair promises much enjoyment

The Lagos Book Fair presents more than just books. A diverse programme of activities associated with the initiative, like reading tales, story sessions, fairytale hour, board games, music and dancing.

This edition will feature the presence of local bookshops (Livros da Ria Formosa, Até à Lua, FNAC, Timo Dillner, The Owl Story) and guests (The Poets & Dragons Society and Livraria Cabeçudos), as well as a section for the Gil Eanes Philatelic and Numismatic Chess Association.

On August 7^th, the Algarve Jazz Orchestra Quintet takes the stage, and on the 9^th, at 9pm, there will be a concert by Almatriz.

To enrichen the city’s cultural event even further, the Lagos World Music Fest will be taking place at the Praça do Infante at too (on the 5^th, 6^th, 12^th and 13^th of August).
