Turismo de Portugal has created a credit support line available for anyone who wants to invest in tourism in the interior of the country.

The Tourism Microcredit Line Support Program for the Interior is a financial incentive that supports entrepreneurs in the tourism sector in interior regions, according to NM.

The objective is to boost local economic development, create jobs and foster partnerships in the tourism sector.

According to the Turismo de Portugal website, the loan to be granted under this diploma can correspond to a maximum of 90 percent of the eligible investment, with an absolute maximum value of €30,000.

Only tourist companies can compete for this support, and the investment must be made in low-intensity territories.
