From September 07 to 24, this commemorative edition, celebrating the 40th anniversary of its wine section, will take place in Apolónia Supermarkets’ three physical stores – Almancil, Galé and Lagoa – and on the online store, promising to provide an incredible experience of tasting and discovery, as well as unique opportunities to purchase more than 2,200 different national and international wines, many of which will be available with discounts of up to 50%. The event will also feature the customary presence of the specialised team from the wine section to advise customers on the best choices according to their preferences, as well as experts from wine producers, who will be organising tasting sessions for their wines.

In the fair’s exclusive catalogue, which can be viewed in-store and on the website, the wines are organised by region, highlighting some wines with tasting notes and interesting facts, while providing wine lovers with an engaging experience. The catalogue is divided into several sections showcasing national wines, namely from the Douro, Península de Setúbal, Algarve and Alentejo, among others, and international wines from France, Australia, Italy, Spain, Chile and more, as well as an alcohol-free wine section and an accessories section.

Newly introduced this year is the section dedicated to alcohol-free wines, a carefully selected option for those who cannot or prefer not to consume alcohol. There is also a selection of organic wines, emphasising Apolónia’s commitment to healthy and sustainable options.

Apolónia Wine Fair offers more than just an opportunity to buy wine. The Apolónia wine section is promoting an exclusive competition during the event, where customers who buy six bottles of wine, port, sparkling wine or champagne have the chance to win one of three vouchers worth €1,000 in purchases. All you have to do is answer a question correctly and wait for the results at the end of the fair.

To improve the experience even further, tastings of the different wines available at Apolónia will be held in the stores, as well as tastings of products that pair with the featured wines, namely from the stores’ Deli Counter and Butcher's.

This is an event that celebrates the renown of Apolónia as a leading name nationally when it comes to selling wine, and its ongoing commitment to offering quality, diversity and exceptional experiences to wine lovers. Take advantage of this unique opportunity where every bottle tells a story.

If you can’t make it to the Algarve to visit the Wine Fair in one of the group’s three stores, you can do so via the online store, which delivers all over the country.
