The signing follows bilateral talks between Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and his Italian counterpart Guido Crosetto in Rome. The pact aims to, among other goals, bolster cooperation in“R&D, education in the military field, maritime domain awareness, sharing of defence information and industrial cooperation”.
