We've been talking about signing a new contract for a while, so I'm happy to finally do so. When both sides are content and want to go on working together, that's always a positive indicator. The coach stated on the team's website, “We've had two fantastic seasons, and our goal is to maintain this club in the Premier League, which is vital for its future.

“The commitment and ambition that these players have shown since day one has been the key to what we have achieved and will always remain so, along with the unconditional support of our fans, who are fundamental,” the Portuguese coach said, praising his players for their achievement in the first two seasons.

With the outcome of the talks with the Portuguese coach, the club's chairman, Shahid Khan, expressed satisfaction: “I'm delighted to announce that we have a new contract with Marco Silva until 2025/26 and I'm confident that this news will inspire our players and fans, both immediately and in the coming seasons.”

Shahid Khan was enthusiastic about Marco Silva, to the point that he admitted as much: “I knew Marco represented everything we needed and more for our head coach when I met him in 2021. I am appreciative of him for sharing my belief in the potential that exists at Fulham. I have the utmost respect for him because of his professionalism, work ethic, and desire to see Fulham succeed.”
