Promoted by Publibalão, in cooperation with “Alentejo sem Fronteiras” – Balonismo Club, the festival will take place between 6 and 12 November in the municipalities of Alter do Chão, Fronteira, Monforte, Ponte de Sor and Avis (in this case, in Abreu Callado Foundation, in Benavila).

In a statement sent to Lusa, the organisers reveals that the 38 teams that will be present at FIBAQ come from Portugal, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

The event, which is open to the public, features 11 free flights in a hot air balloon, through the purchase of a solidarity bracelet that will go to volunteer firefighters in participating locations.

There are two free flights every day, the first at 07:00 and the second at 14:30.

The event starts on November 6th in Fronteira, the next day it passes through Alter do Chão and on the 8th it is Monforte's turn to host FIBAQ.

On the 10th and 11th of November, the festival will remain in Ponte de Sor, ending on the 12th at Fundação Abreu Callado.
