According to the British publication Travel Weekly, the strike will be felt throughout the country and follows a strike that already took place last Friday and which affected Italian transport workers, with the exception of the aviation sector.

“A 24-hour national strike by airport, airline and ground handling staff is expected on 24 November. Travellers are advised to check with their booking provider for updates,” reads the alert issued by Italian authorities.

This Friday's strike is expected to affect assistance services, ground staff and other functions at the airport, with delays, cancellations and flight interruptions expected.
