The incident occurred on Monday, and according to the Aviation Source News website, the aircraft was coming from Amsterdam.
The Airbus model A321neo, registration number PH-YHZ, took off a little after 5pm and despite the incident landed safely at 6:41pm.
The plane, which now has an obvious dent, was delivered new to the carrier in December 2023.
This type of incident is very common in aviation, with hundreds of occurrences recorded daily. Images of the damage were shared on the social network X by journalist Menno Swart.
May I suggest a more appropriate headline: „Plane killed bird“!
